What’s New
Guided Tour System
- Page guides for new users — Each page now offers a guided walkthrough accessible from Help → Page Guide (Cmd+Shift+?). The guide highlights UI elements one at a time with descriptions, covering the Welcome page (8 steps), Editor (14 steps), and Settings (6 steps). Automatically shows on first visit to each page.
Welcome Page
- Redesigned splash screen — The splash screen now displays Login, Register, and Continue buttons so users can authenticate before entering the app. Shows version number and copyright notice.
- SVG action icons — Action buttons now use crisp white-outline SVG icons instead of emoji characters, matching the editor’s visual style.
Settings
- Fixed toolbar scrolling — The Settings page toolbar no longer scrolls off the top of the screen when viewing lower sections.
Licenses
- Updated open source licenses — Replaced D3.js with Cytoscape.js in the license listing to reflect the current diagram rendering library.
CI
- Blog dispatch fix — Release body is now passed in the blog dispatch payload so the ossum.ai blog post includes release details.
